first day first show

i am writing this in hindsight - so lets see what all i remember. I remember endless cups of coffee followed by endless cups of green tea - as you can have only as much coffee in a day. I would wait for hours at Bagel Shop, and friends would keep dropping by. Lisa came to say hi every night. And though i didnt think she appreciated my paintings so much, she came because, i guess, thats what friends do. Rudy, Vidya, Gurpreet, with full family - atul and sneha of course, and Pks helped hang the paintings before the shop opened. And helped me hammer in nails, as i didnt know what kind of screws to use to hang a painting without damaging it. Bagel Shop was also where i thought about most of my work - and it is probably the only cafe i had painted, though i did think of doing a few later.

I gave 3500 to the staff at bagel shop for helping out - they kept sending free tea/ coffee throughout the day for me and my friends 

new friends i made: chiru, sabina, salamat - none of them are in my life anymore, but it was fun knowing them then.
